Balloon Festival in Foley Alabama May 6th & 7th 2016
The 12th Annual Gulf Coast Hot Air Balloon Festival is a 2 day event featuring about 45 private balloonists and 2-5 corporate balloons. The City of Foley is in the southern part of Baldwin County much of wish is still rural farm land about 10 miles north of the Gulf of Mexico. It is a beautiful, flat landscape.

The South Baldwin Chamber of Commerce and the Gulf Coast Hot Air Balloon Festival is proud to present the first ever Balloon Bucks event. Purchasing a Balloon Bucks discount card allows shoppers to enjoy incredible discounts at participating retailers prior to and during the week of the Gulf Coast Hot Air Balloon Festival. Balloon Bucks event will be held from Friday, April 29 – Sunday, May 8.
This event is an awesome opportunity to get up close to the beautiful balloons we get to play with on a daily basis in Arizona!
Interactive Hot Air Balloon Display (weather permitting). You can have the opportunity to walk inside a hot air balloon!
Tethered Rides. Purchase tickets to go up in a hot air balloon! (weather permitting) & a Balloon Glow and Mass Ascension! Watch the balloons glow and soar through the night sky! (weather permitting).
There is also Arts n crafts and food vendors, Live music featuring live bands along with a carnival with rides for the kiddos.
Also there is the balloon run. During the color dash 5K you can run under 40 balloons while getting colorful! They will offer balloon flights along with awesome tethered balloon rides. Purchase tickets to go up in a hot air balloon! (weather permitting). Then you can witness the Balloon mass ascension!
